Resarch Project Not so amazing (Resarch Project)

The Assignment

Each of us in the class were assigned a different baby problem for a topic.
I decided to pick the topic of 'The adoption process'
This will include the basic procedure and cost of going through a local adoption clinic.
Also, include the regular responsibility's of raising a child.
I started my research a couple of days ago and with the help of my mom who is also adopted I think I will be able to write a sufficient enough paper on the 'Adoption process'

My project will include several pages of work and how you can adopt kids from local community adoption centers and foreign country's.

Tips and Suggestions:
Most or all of adoptable kids have a problem or are sick.
Completely wrong. it is up to you the conditions of your child. All kinds of domestic children need help, not just the unhealthy ones.

Adoption can take years to complete.
Although adoption can be a long process, it usually takes only about one to two years to complete the adoption
Most mothers that put their child up for adoption are teen parents.
As a matter of a fact, most of the birth mothers are struggling with kids she has already had. Most in their twenty's and typically single

Completing your adoption classes and receiving an adoption application
Depending on the organization or clinic you go through to follow the adoption process, you will need to take pre-training classes on adoption. To apply to adopt a child you need to have a number of things ready to fulfill the basic adoption requirements
  • Reference or letter of recommendation from co-workers or people who know you
  • Background check and criminal record on local, state, and federal
  • Proof that you are old enough (Social Security and Birth Certificate)
  • Proof of reliable income to meet minimum requirements
Completing a written document about your life and family. Where you are located and your ambition in adopting a child. Everything about yourself and your regular week or day.

Finding a child
After you have your application approved and  accepted, you can then start by contacting adoption programs or local clinics about the specifics of the child.
Usually you will have a caseworker or some kind of person to help you locate and complete your legalizing of the adoption through an organization (example being adoptuskids.org
Your case worker can register you or you can register yourself.
