Baby Blog: First Days of Parenting

1.) In the "If I Became a Teen Parent" assignment, did the response you received from your parent/guardian surprise you?  Discuss.

He was very honest with me. He would support me in my challenges and be a loving grandparent but, He said it would be completely my responsibility as it should and I would have to learn how to overcome hard obstacles by myself like any other parent raising a child.

2.) What responses to the flour baby project surprised you?  (i.e. What friends, family, or strangers said or how they acted)

People with OTHER flour baby's walking around with Easter baskets as baby carriers are tell ME how it ill advised to carry my baby around in a small open duffel bag stuffed with blankets. It can breath and is able to lay down and is perfectly fine. Then people as me. "Is that how you are gonna carry your baby around in real life?" and in retaliation  I usually end up asking the same question to them. This bag only being temporary, I will find a proper chair for her in time.

3.) In what ways should we have started this project differently?  (i.e. If we had it to do over again, how would you have started the project?)

By first getting a carrier and clothes for it first. I didn't really know what to do for a bag of flower

4.)What was the most surprising about the "Baby Costs" project?

How many Diapers a baby goes through and how expensive they are!

SO. have you heard of this phony flour baby parent Kyle Schmidt?

He thinks he's so cool even though he doesn't know the first thing about parenting.
